Introduction
Watch the below video from Pallavi Joshi, where she talks about how Sage AGASTYA created a battery that could produce electricity thousands of years ago?
But, have you ever wondered how this was possible in those times without the availability of sophisticated instruments.
This is because, SPIRITUALITY is the basis of science from ancient to modern. In the modern world, only the technology is different i.e. the availability of sophisticated gadgets.
Prana Vidya
In deep states of meditation, meditators see Prana as a ray of light and visualize it as a complex, intelligent, non-physical, multidimensional energy.
It is a combination of electrical, magnetic, electromagnetic, photonic, ocular, thermal and mental energies. So, indeed electricity is one of the components of Prana.
Through Meditation, when a person has gained sufficient mastery over Prana, they can direct it to any part of body, a science known as Prana Vidya.
One can also direct Prana towards another insentient object, a science known as Prana Pratishtha.
Through Prana Vidya, we can study the effects of directing and controlling Prana on our own body or on other objects.
We can develop technology to build a battery if we could compare it with observations of nature around us.
This must be the process of how Agastya Rishi developed a battery in those times thousands of years ago.
Observing the construction of the battery as given in the video, we see that it comprises elements such as Zinc, Copper, Mercury etc.
These are also present in elemental form in our body. Tamil Nadu has practiced SIDDHA, another science of medicine, for thousands of years based on this.
Refer to the chapter on Vibhuti Pada, in the book Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by Swami Satchidananda.
In this book, the author describes how Siddhis or Supernatural Powers develop through the practice of Samayama.
Vibhuti Pada is the third chapter of the classical yogic text, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, composed by the sage Patanjali. The word Vibhuti means “powers” or “manifestations,” while Pada means “chapter” or “section.” This chapter primarily discusses the extraordinary abilities, or siddhis, that may arise from deep yogic concentration.
